St. Thoma's, Henbury is situated on the outskirts of Macclesfield, adjacent to the A537, the main access road from the M6 motorway, to the West of the town. The Parish is part rural farmland and part suburban, including the villages of Henbury and Broken Cross. The population of the Parish is around 4,000.
The Church has a middle-of-the-road, liberal churchmanship, within the Anglican community, and welcomes Baptism, Thanksgiving and Wedding enquiries.
The Parish has recently been joined with St. John's Macclesfield in a new Benefice. The husband and wife clergy team are the Rev'd Dr. Tim Robinson and the Rev'd Norma Robinson.
