Central to worship in our church is the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, also called the Holy Communion, or the Lord's Supper. In this offering of prayer and praise, the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are remembered and celebrated in prayers and hymns.
Followed by tea/coffee and biscuits. All welcome.

St Mary the Virgin

At St Mary the Virgin church in Bosley we are a warm and welcoming faith community. We have a long standing and friendly congregation who enjoy traditional services and Christian fellowship.  We are part of the Peak Parishes benefice, together with our friends at Wincle and Wildboarclough.

We have the privilege of worshipping in this picturesque area on the edge of the Peak District and the Cheshire Plains.

As well as meeting up with old and treasured friends we enjoy welcoming new members on Sunday morning for our regular service followed by tea, coffee, biscuits and a chat.

Come and see us - you might not have been to church before, or not for years, but you have a place that no one else can fill and it is waiting for you. God loves you, knows you and is waiting to pour out his blessings for you.

We take our safeguarding responsibilities very seriously and follow the Church of England's guidelines. For more information and who to contact should you wish to discuss a safeguarding issue or concern please see the Safeguarding page of our Benefice website: www.peakparishes.org.uk
