St Oswald's Church is a half-timbered historic church situated at the end of a cobbled lane in Lower Peover alongside the village school, the Little House Nursery and The Bells of Peover. The interior of the church is oak framed and has box pews. In normal circumstances the church is open every day for visitors and private prayer. Sunday services offer a variety of worship styles from relaxed family services to more formal Book of Common Prayer evensong.
The parish of Lower or Nether Peover: St Oswald's is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Chester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services
