Inflation is on the rampage, prices are rising at an alarming rate and now, more than ever, we need to be thinking of people who need help. With this in mind, during the 11am Family Service (usually on the second Sunday of every month), items of food, toiletries etc will be received, blessed and then delivered to the local food bank.If you would like to donate but cannot be at the 11 am service please leave your contribution in the porch.
Everyone is most welcome and we teach you the notes, so you don’t have to be a brilliant sight-reader. Rehearsals are on Friday evenings in church, 7.00 to 8.00, and are relaxed and enjoyable – we hope! Our robed choir sings two services a month at 6.30 and a less formal group lead morning worship at 11.00. Some singers, who can only attend occasionally, just come to rehearsals for significant services, such as Christmas or Easter. Also, we have a special choir service on Sunday, 10 September at 6.30. Singers are invited to join us for a Tudor ‘Come and Sing’ Evensong, with an afternoon rehearsal from 2.30 to 5.30.
