St Peter's Hale

St Peter’s is part of the Church of England and a member of Inclusive Church in the heart of Hale. We are a Christian community of and for all ages, in which everyone is welcome. Our aim is to grow together: in faith, in fellowship, and in number.

The church building is a beautiful, Grade II listed, late-Victorian church, set in attractive gardens on Ashley Road.

St Peter's has an accomplished choir and a strong musical tradition. We have services that cater for the traditions and needs of many including: Book of Common Prayer, Common Worship, Choral Evensong, Taize, Contemporary Praise, Junior Church and Messy Church. We're always seeking to further develop our worship and would love to further explore more modern forms of prayer and worship.

St Peter's is very popular for weddings and baptisms ("christenings"), and offers preparation and support to those preparing for these important life events. Please note that we adhere to the Parish system and will need to see proof that you live within the parish or have a qualifying connection in order to be married or baptised. Please provide this information when making your enquiries. You can check you live in the parish by entering your postcode on the main www.achurchnearyou.com page.

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Lucy Nattrass (0161 928 2679 or 07891 655 685) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor Sean Augustin (07704 338 885).

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
