Christmas is a time a joy and merriment, but we all need to pause sometimes and take some time out. Some people find this time of year difficult because they are missing a loved one or life is challenging. Others just want to find some space and peace amid the chaos of Christmas for
quiet reflection.

On Thursday 21st December we will be holding a reflective service to recognise the longest night of the year and provide a space to pause and reflect this season. All are welcome.

St Oswald's, Malpas

This ancient church is situated at the heart of the small town of Malpas. It is a fine example of medieval architecture and has witnessed to the truths of the Christian faith for over 1,000 years. The present building mainly dates from the middle of the fifteenth-century.

The church is very much involved in the life of the town and wider community, and has particularly strong links with the local primary schools.

Worship at St Oswald’s is focused on the Eucharist; thought-through liturgy is valued and finds expression in the Book of Common Prayer and Common Worship. Along side our regular services here are family services and community and civic services.
