Very often, after a loved one has died, people find it difficult to speak about what has happened and find that others avoid the subject, unsure of what to say or how to offer appropriate help.
This is a listening space and a safe place in which to express your feelings. It is a place of understanding, caring and support, and you will be in the company of others who are on the same journey, walking the same path, but at different speeds and in different ways.
A series of 6 sessions for those dealing with loss held in the Church Annexe and led by our Pastoral Worker. A chance to meet others who are grieving and discover ways to cope and heal. Whether your bereavement is recent or long-standing, this meeting is for you.

Welcome to St Wilfrid's!

You will always receive a warm welcome at St Wilfrid's. We are an inclusive Anglican church of central tradition committed to sharing the love of God, serving our neighbour and following the way of Jesus. Our growing congregation ranges in age from 0-90 and it's always good to see new people.

Our beautiful Grade 1 listed building is situated in the historic village of Grappenhall in South Warrington. We meet each week on Sunday's and during the week, and we love to welcome newcomers into our community. Come just as you are!

Our services are accessible and welcoming, and we seek to share the love of Jesus with you. As an inclusive church we are members of the Inclusive Church Network which means that everyone who enters out doors is welcomed just as and for who they are.
