St Wilfrid

Welcome to St Wilfrid's!

You will always receive a warm welcome at St Wilfrid's. We are an inclusive Anglican church of central tradition committed to sharing the love of God, serving our neighbour and following the way of Jesus. Our growing congregation ranges in age from 0-90 and it's always good to see new people.

Our beautiful Grade 1 listed building is situated in the historic village of Grappenhall in South Warrington. We meet each week on Sunday's and during the week, and we love to welcome newcomers into our community. Come just as you are!

Our services are accessible and welcoming, and we seek to share the love of Jesus with you. As an inclusive church we are members of the Inclusive Church Network which means that everyone who enters out doors is welcomed just as and for who they are. Check us out on Facebook and have a sneak preview of what our services are like before you come in person!

Safeguarding

Our parish of Grappenhall: St Wilfrid is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Chester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [add their details here or use the button to link to a page that shows the info] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [add their details here or use the button below to link to your own page that shows the info or the diocesan safeguarding page]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
