About Us
Holy Ascension was dedicated in 1854 to serve the small rural community of Upton by Chester. It now serves a population of around 9,000 and has about 150 members on the electoral roll.
There are two services of different types each Sunday and a Holy Communion service every Wednesday morning.
Our purpose is to be the people of God in Upton, committed to Christ, to one another, and to service in the community. Together we worship God with joy and love and with an openness to renewal by the Holy Spirit.
