Sunday Services at St. John’s - Changing Pattern

Our service pattern is changing for December.
We have an 11 O'clock service at St. John's on 1st December (Advent Sunday) which is an Holy Communion with Baptism.
On 8th December we have an 11 o’clock Morning Worship with Pioneer Minister Capt. Jeff Hill.
On 15th December we are joining the afternoon Community Carol Service in Crosby Community Centre so there is no service in St. John’s.
On 22nd December our Family Christingle Service is at 4pm (all donations for The Children’s Society).
Christmas Day Family Communion is at 10 o’clock with Rev. Susan McKendrey.

Service times for the other churches in our Benefice are in the church porch.

Christingle Service

for 1 hour
St John the Evangelist

All are very welcome at our Christingle service. Come to hear the Christmas story, sing carols and help to make the crib scene.
Children are very welcome to come dressed up in Nativity costumes.
Every child will receive a Christingle orange and story book.
Donations will be collected for The Children’s Society.

Christmas Day Family Communion Service

All are very welcome at our Christmas Day service.
Rev. Susan McKendrey will lead our service of Holy Communion with carols and readings.
Come and worship in our beautiful 12th century church decorated for Christmas and reflect on Jesus’ birth - the first Christmas.
