About Us

The beautiful, remote valley of Eskdale is home to a small population of hill farmers, but all year around it embraces many more visitors who come here to walk the fells, camp under the stars or ride the Ratty Steam train. St Bega's Church is situated opposite the Village Stores in the centre of Eskdale Green and provides an accessible place of worship for locals and visitors alike. Within the shelter of its ever open door you may find a light and welcoming space to reflect.
