The period before Easter, known as Lent, is a time to gather with others and go a bit deeper in your personal journey of faith. This year's theme is 'Living Hope'. During our series of Lent Reflections at Rydal Hall lead by the rector Lawrence Basham, there will be readings and time for contemplation to explore how we maintain hope in times of frustration or uncertainty. Themes include the hope found in joining with others; the invitation to notice signs of hope around us; the courage to face reality and pursue a hopeful future; and the ways God transforms death into life at Easter.
