It is an exciting time for Coniston CE Primary school at the moment as the school was recently federated with the high-achieving John Ruskin School, and also recently appointed a new Head of School, Ms. Danielle Fitzsimons.

The school is now exploring a new vision for the future development of the school; the ethos and academic excellence for the children; while not forgetting the beautiful setting in which the school finds itself or the local community to which it belongs. Therefore, it was natural that the new Vision should open with the words of the local luminary, John Ruskin.
