All Age Worship & Christingle service with Holy Communion.

Occuring
for 1 hour
Venue
St. Thomas' (Crosscrake)
Address
St. Thomas' Church, Crosscrake Shyreakes Lane, Crosscrake Kendal, LA8 0AB, United Kingdom

As Christmas has faded away and the story of Holy Week and Easter seem not too far away, we celebrate The Presentation of Christ in the Temple, a requirement on Mary & Joseph under Jewish law. And at Crosscrake we do this with our Christingles, lighting a candle in an orange to represent Christ, the light of the world.
It is a joyful service for all ages, but especially for children. So, find one or more children and come along. All done to support the work of The Children’s Society.

St. Thomas' (Crosscrake)

A warm welcome to St Thomas’ Church, in the parish of Crosscrake, near Kendal, Cumbria.

We are an inclusive and welcoming church; a community that cares for all, both near and far.

‘Our aim is to be a true family of God; living, worshipping, and working in what we know is a difficult and demanding world. We will be open and outward looking, growing in faith, using the talents of our members, radiating our witness to Christ, meeting Him in our neighbours, giving and receiving the love of God.’
Parish Mission Statement

We are always delighted to welcome new friends and visitors, whether this is to a service of worship, special events, or just to enjoy a few moments of peace and reflection in our lovely country church.
