A chance to meet together with other people to look at the Bible, share and pray together, and learn more about growing as a Christian. Currently we are looking at Jesus Discovery leaflets - going through parts of Luke's Gospel that highlight the basics of the Christian faith.

You are welcome to come and join us, as we worship God in our Communion service- led by Julie Barrett, our local lay reader.
After this - at about 12-15pm onwards - we are having a bring and share cold buffet lunch- just turn up - even if you haven't been to the service - and bring something to share on the buffet table. Please list ingredients if not in packet from a shop (to help people with allergies.) Good food and good chat! Any queries about meal to Jim and Jo Steele: 01768 870454
Tea/coffee are also available before the service from 10-20am - a good chance for an informal chat, especially if you can't make the lunch. New visitors are always welcome.

Midweek Communion Service at Eden Court, Lazonby, monthly - next on Thursday 2nd July.

Eden Court, Fiddlers Lane Lazonby Eden Court is managed housing on the right as you turn into Fiddlers Lane from the main road in Lazonby. The service is held in their main lounge., CA10 1BH

A chance to meet with others midweek for a simple service with Holy Communion, prayers and a short talk.
Followed by a chance for refreshments and a chat.
In the lounge at Eden Court- wheelchair access straightforward.
This normally occurs monthly on the 1st. Thursday of the month.

Taize style service at Langwathby Chapel at 5pm on first Sunday of the month- next on 5th July.

"Zest" is a more informal service , family friendly, but definitely suitable for all ages - 0 to 100! In the middle 1/3 of the service there is the opportunity to go into a group of your choosing (all ages) - craft, Lego, mindful colouring, bible or newspaper discussion group - or just spending time quietly on your own with God. Totally unpressurised and an opportunity for interaction with God and with one another. Good refreshments and chat afterwards
