Eden Court, Fiddlers Lane Lazonby Eden Court is managed housing on the right as you turn into Fiddlers Lane from the main road in Lazonby. The service is held in their main lounge., CA10 1BH

A chance to meet with others midweek for a simple service with Holy Communion, prayers and a short talk.
Followed by refreshments and chat.
This normally occurs monthly on the 1st. Thursday of the month, but in January 2025 it will be the 2nd Thursday.

Morning worship at St. Oswald's Church at 11am on Sunday 6th April.

Palm Sunday walk and services -starting at Kirkoswald Methodist Chapel -Sunday 13th April at 10-30am

Join with us to celebrate Palm Sunday as we start at Kirkoswald Methodist Chapel, and walk through the village singing hymns, and finishing with a service at St. Oswald's Church (starting at 11-15am approx.) At the front of our procession will be a donkey, as on Palm Sunday we remember that Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey.
There will be tea/coffee at St. Oswald's Church from 10-45 am.
This is a joint event for all the churches and chapels in our Mission Community, and visitors are welcome to join us. Feel free to come for just part of this special event.

Holy Week is a special opportunity to focus on the events leading up to Jesus' death on the cross and resurrection- remembered on Easter Sunday.

Monday 14th April, 7pm, - Taize service at St John, Melmerby.
Tuesday 15th April, 7pm, - Celtic service at St. Cuthbert's Church, Great Salkeld.
Wednesday 16th April, 7pm, - Gamblesby Chapel
Maundy Thursday, 17th April, 7pm,- Holy Communion St Nicholas' Church, Lazonby.
Good Friday, 18th April, 10am - Walk of Witness, St Peter's Church, Langwathby

Easter Day Holy Communion at St. Oswald's Church at 11am on Sunday 20th April.
