We are ordinary people following and serving Christ - in the community and for the community.
Our church building is open all the time for personal prayer.
Services occur in our church building most Sundays and are shared between local Anglicans and Methodists. If no services in our church, there will usually be a service in one of the nearby churches in our group- Kirkoswald, Lazonby or Great Salkeld. St Nicholas, Lazonby - ordinary people following and serving Jesus together in our community
We are ordinary people seeking together to follow and serve Jesus - in the community, and for the community. Please feel welcome to contact us.
Our church building is still open for private prayer daily from 9am. to 5pm. in summer months and 9am. to 3pm. during winter months- changeover at same time as clocks change. As the door is locked and unlocked by volunteers, please bear with us if these times sometimes vary. Please feel free to contact one of our churchwardens if you need to.
For Services and other events: We have services in our church building most Sundays. If no service in our church, then one at a neighbouring church in Kirkoswald or Great Salkeld will be listed. Visit the 'Services and Events' or 'News and Notices' pages to learn about what is happening and other sources of help. A one monthly and 3 monthly plan may be found in the 'Notices' section there. We have no regular online services at present.

St Cuthbert, Great Salkeld - following and serving Jesus in our community.
An old village Church - in the centre of our community and for our community. We have a reputation for offering a very friendly welcome to all.
We are an 'open church'. Our door is never locked. We also have a toilet and a small kitchenette where you will find tea/coffee/milk/sugar \- please feel free to use the facilities.
There are services in our church building most Sundays. If no services at Great Salkeld there will be one in a nearby church in our group-at Lazonby or Kirkoswald. Visit the 'Services and Events' page of this website to see details of these, We also have Friday morning prayers of blessing for our community- in the churchyard in good weather, or on Zoom if raining: contact Peter Pickthall for details.
