There has been a lot going on across the 7 churches – it has been busy, but a lot of fun. As you now know, I have a new job in the south of the county which means that Ruth & I are moving out on the 13th February. This means that I will still be taking my regular service in your church in January. People are busy trying to find temporary replacements for those services during the gap between vicars and people have begun the process to try and find a permanent, suitable replacement to fill my shoes. Please keep these people in your prayers over the coming months. This move will not take place until next Spring. I love being part of the 7 churches in Inglewood but the opportunity to serve 2 churches (& minister in each every Sunday) was too tempting. Please pray for those beginning the process of finding a successor for you in these parishes. Sunday services for 5 November – 9.30 - Holy Communion at Christ & St Mary’s, Armathwaite. Morning Worship at All Saints, Calthwaite 11am – Holy Communion at St Michael’s, Skelton. Sunday services for 12 November – 9.30 – REMEMBRANCE service at St Michael & All Angels, Ainstable. School Foundation Governors As part of our ministry in this part of God’s creation we have the joy of helping our two Church of England primary schools (Calthwaite & High Hesket) to grow in their Christian understanding. Part of this includes being involved with the Governors. We still need one foundation governor. It would be wonderful part of our witness to be able to support the schools in all they hope to achieve in the lives of these youngsters.
