Palm Sunday in Kirkoswald saw the arrival of a donkey and a local congregation for the annual Palm Sunday village walk from the Methodist Chapel to St Oswald’s Church.

This reminds us of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem on a donkey as a public display of his identity as the Messiah and King, met with cheers and praise from the crowds.

The services on Palm Sunday were led by Revd Fiona Jenkins and Revd Dave Milner.
