Welcome to St James's, Temple Sowerby in Cumbria!
WE are a small but welcoming church. We meet once a month for worship, alternating between Holy Communion services and Family Services. The Holy Communion services are led by different members of our benefice team of ministers. The family services are led by local people and aim to be accessible to all people of all ages whether you're used to church or not. We offer refreshments after services.
We also hold a monthly cafe. The Rainbow cafe is on the 2nd Tuesday each month from 2.30-4.30pm. Cakes, coffee, children's area. All welcome, including dogs.
In addition we try to offer occasional events for families.
Our church is part of the Heart of Eden Benefice, and a member of the Heart of Westmorland Missional Community.
