About Us
Welcome!
Our principal worship at St Andrew's is Holy Communion at 10.30am on the first Sunday of each month, and Evensong at 6.30pm on the third Sunday of the month, and we're always delighted to welcome visitors. Special services and social events are a feature of St Andrew's and the strongest element of mission outreach to the local community.
St Andrew's is grade 1 listed and situated on a steep natural mound. This ancient location affords commanding views over the surrounding countryside and has a particularly spiritual feel. A car park at the top of the hill provides disabled access with a level path to the church. The church has a pre-Conquest chancel arch and a 12th century nave. The church is usually open for visitors during the hours of daylight.
