About Us
Saint Nicolas Church has been at the heart of the village community in Forest Hill for nearly 900 years. It is a small church with Norman origins, a 19th century pipe organ, and wheelchair-accessible toilet.
The usual pattern of services is as follows, but for up to date information on changes, please see the Calendar under Services and Events, or visit our website www.stnicolasforesthill.org
First Sunday: Parish Communion using Common Worship at 11:00am.
Second Sunday: Choral Evensong with our own or a visiting choir, or Evening Prayer with sung canticles, using the Book of Common Prayer, at 6:00pm. Please see the Calendar under Services and Events for which service it is.
Third Sunday: Morning Prayer using the Book of Common Prayer at 11:00am.
Fourth Sunday: Joint Service held at one of the 4 parishes in the Benefice in rotation at 10:00am. Please see the Calendar under Services and Events to find out which Parish is holding the service.
Fifth Sunday (if there is one): Morning Prayer using Common Worship at 11:00am.
We try to keep the church open between the hours of 10am and 4pm every day.
