Morning Celebration with HC
Generally, there will be three or four hymns/songs. We’re encouraged to sing praises to God in the bible, so that’s what we do. There will be a couple of readings from the bible, a short sermon which aims to help unpack the reading and there will be some time for prayer. At this communion service there is a moment where some go up to the altar to receive bread and wine. This is just to help us feel connected with God and remember Jesus’ death and resurrection.

St Mary, Langley, Maidstone

All are welcome! That is what is on the banner at the entrance to our church. Come as you are!We are a relaxed family friendly church based in Langley, Maidstone. We have a children's church called Elev8 ( 3+ years) who have their session the same time as the rest of the congregation- 11am every Sunday morning. There is a dedicated section with toys and books for 0-3 year olds at the back of the church, too. The worship style is relaxed and informal. We sing modern worship songs and have a communion service every other Sunday. We are a very friendly and hospitable congregation! Our sister church, St. Nicholas in Otham, has a more traditional organ hymn-lead worship and liturgy. Services are every Sunday at 9:30am. You can expect a warm welcome, a lovely hot drink and a smile!
