I've started knitting them in matching pairs, one cross for a member of the family in hospital and another for family members at home. So, I share my simple pattern here - there are lots of patterns out there I am sure. It is a simple diagram showing knit and purl stitches, the cross is usually in contrasting wool and because of its softness, it can sit comfortably in the pocket of pyjamas or dressing gowns. Please do feel free to share. Best wishes,Revd Lesley
