About Us

We are a friendly, lively, generous church community who live in the Welcome and Transformation of Jesus Christ. We are an ordinary church family on an extraordinary journey of discovery and growth as we seek to share God's love in our hurting world.

We are a church who try to follow the lead of the Holy Spirit and the Bible in every aspect of our lives, even when that’s tough. We have found a life as followers of Jesus which never ceases to delight and deepen us, and which connects us to all other Jesus followers across the world, and across time.

Holy Trinity Church is now in a vacancy (period between vicars) as we have said a sad farewell to Colin and Natalie Brookes. Their time here was one of inspired leadership within the church as well as interaction with the town and many of its communities. They provided an example to us all how to live a Christian life with God at the centre. Although sorely missed, we are committed to continue and progress the work and values they instilled.

We are part of the New Wine network, a Holy Spirit empowered movement bringing this nation back to Jesus through the local Church. And we are a Church of England church in the Diocese of Canterbury, united in the mandate of Transformed Lives, Transforming Lives.

We are an all-age, multi-ethnic, naturally-supernatural, church family wanting to see our town and beyond renewed and revived through the love of Jesus.
