The most important Christian celebrations of the year occur in what is known as Holy Week. Holy Week, which this year begins on Sunday 13th April (Palm Sunday) and culminates on Sunday 20th April (Easter Day), commemorates the last week of Jesus' life including his Passion (suffering), death and resurrection.
