A quiet devotional service reflecting on Christ's Passion and death
This is one of the most ancient traditions of the Christian calendar. This Holy Communion Service is the first celebration of Easter when we welcome the Risen Lord. The service includes readings summarising our salvation history read by candlelight and the blessing of the Paschal or Easter Candle, symbolising Christ risen from the dead.

Common Worship service of Morning Prayer
Bell ringing practice for all abilities and ages from 10 years (those wishing to learn of 10-18 years, with parental approval). Safeguarding is upheld at all times with full supervision. Anyone thinking of learning about bell ringing is welcome to come along. 6.00pm to 6.30pm is set aside for new ringers. An half hour can be added on at the end, 8.00pm-8.30pm, for anyone wanting extra help. A team of bell ringers regularly ring for an hour before the 6.30pm Evensong service once a month.

Charity concert organised by Jump in aid of Spinal Muscular Distrophy UK. West End singers joined by local amateur Jump performers of all ages, singing songs from West End shows. Performances 3pm and 6pm. Tickets on sale from 22 March from Jump £12.50 Adult £6 Child.
A short service exploring an expression of art illustrating the day's bible reading, together with traditional and more modern hymns and prayers.
Invicta Wind Orchestra will return to St Mattthew’s Church, Warehorne with more good tunes, not this time from Percy Grainger, but from many composers associated with the heyday of light instrumental music in the middle of the twentieth century, when composers always gave the audience a tune to whistle on their way home. Composers featured include Folkestone composer Susan Spain Dunk, along with Montague Ring, Albert Ketelby and Charles Williams.
In addition the programme will include flute soloist Claire Ardan in Philip Sparke’s lovely Lindisfarne Rhapsody and Christopher Gunning’s Poirot Variations – based on the music for the hit ITV Poirot adaptations with that haunting saxophone tune.

Ringers from all over the Ashford District get together for ringing at all levels from novice to expert.
