The annual fundraising event organised by Friends of Kent Churches, when hundreds of people get sponsorship to cycle or walk all over Kent, visiting and 'signing in' at churches. St Mary Magdalene Church will be open 10am - 6pm, offering refreshments throughout the day including Ploughman's Lunches.

St Mary Magdalene

This is a small, rural church with a big heart and everyone is welcome to any of our services and events. We hold a service every Sunday morning, apart from a 5th Sunday when we join together with all the other churches in the Benefice. On that Sunday we travel to whichever church is hosting the service that month. A service of Holy Communion is held on the 1st Sunday at 10.30am and the 4th Sunday at 10.30am. A non-Communion service, led by a church member, takes place at 10.30am on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays and we regularly hold informal, family-based services when breakfast is served at 10am, followed by a short service and a children's activity. Saturday Coffee Mornings take place weekly April - September and a pre-Christmas 'Warm Up' with soup and puddings, crafts and cards, are a great way to meet friends old and new.
