Saxon Shoreline Benefice is at the beginning of a discernment process whereby we are looking at where God is already at work among us to bring people into relationship with Godself. How do we work with God to bring others to know, love and serve Godself? How do we grow in discipleship, to bring others to a relationship with Jesus? How do we plan for mission?
Each year we plan to have two Benefice Mission Days to explore such questions and help each of our parishes to begin planning for growth, and for positive engagement with our local rural communities. Our 'strap-line' is 'Sowing the Seeds of Hope', inspired by the Parable of the Sower found in Mark 3.31-35, Matthew 13.1-23 and Luke 8.19-21.
