Bible Study for Lent and beyond
- Occurring

- Venue
- St. Martin's
- Address Church Lane Aldington Ashford, TN257EF, United Kingdom
We have explored the possibility of a Bible study course to support our spiritual development during Lent. We have found an excellent course on the book of Romans designed by the Bible Society. The course is on video, and so we have decided to run it in St. Martin's church, where we can play the videos with subtitles and use the sound system which makes it more inclusive. We will of course put the heating on!
We will then start the Romans course, which actually is 10 sessions. Please can you spread the word amongst your churches as we are opening up the course to anyone and everyone who would like to attend.
Refreshments will be served from 7.15pm each evening and the course will start promptly at 7.30pm. The video is in two parts, with some discussions taking place in between. If you would like to purchase the book to go with the course it is called "Romans, A letter That Makes Sense of Life" written by Andrew Ollerton, who leads the course. It is not necessary to buy the book, but it is currently on offer on Amazon.
Currently the proposed dates are:
Wednesday 27th March
Break after Easter until
Wednesday 17th April
Wednesday 24th April
Wednesday 1st May
Wednesday 8th May
Please come along, even if you don't manage to make every session. Each session has its own subject.
Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you there.
