'I call to you God, because I am sure of an answer' (Psalm 17, v6-7)

Daily Reflection:

What are we sure of in life? – death and taxes are the “negative” answer! For Christians, those who follow Jesus’ teachings and His way of life, there are only “positives” – Christians are sure of God’s rich blessings, sure of Heaven, and sure of the joy that comes from being God’s friend. That doesn’t mean that life’s sufferings are absent for Christians. When sufferings come, as they surely will for all of us, Christians know that God has the answer, and will work it out in their lives – because of faith. To have faith, is to “be sure of what we hope for and certain of what we cannot see” (Hebrews, Chapter 11 v 1).
