Messy Church is Church – but not as you know it. We explore a bible theme through crafts, food, story-telling and singing, all finished off with a simple tea.

It is noisy and creative, the messier the better. We also have a prayer space where you can go if you prefer it a bit quieter.

Held monthly during term-time, from 3.15pm-5pm, Messy Church is perfect for families with primary-age children. Children must be accompanied by an adult, but there’s no need to book in advance and there’s no charge – donations only.

Safeguarding

The parish of Flackwell Heath is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Oxford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
