'Churches Count on Nature' is a week-long opportunity to record and log our churchyard's plants, insects, birds and other wildlife, to create an inventory of all the different forms of natural life that are flourishing within their boundaries.

We are running a session of plant and insect identification in St George's churchyard, and would love for anyone who is interested to come and help. We will meet on Monday 5th June at St George’s, Benenden from 2 - 4pm.
You are welcome to come and take part for as long or as little as you wish. Light refreshments will be provided to keep our spirits up!

The parish of Benenden: St George is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Canterbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
