Kingsnorth + Shadoxhurst: Shadoxhurst
Welcome to our vibrant Christian community! We are a diverse group of people of all ages and backgrounds, brought together by our shared love of Jesus and our commitment to serving the community. As part of the Ashford Town Parish, our aim is to be a family of churches centred on Jesus, and dedicated to sharing God's love, igniting hope, and creating meaningful relationships with our local community and beyond. We believe in the power of prayer and in helping children and young people flourish through the knowledge of God's love.
We offer three Sunday morning services to suit different tastes and preferences. For those who appreciate the timeless beauty of traditional worship, we have an 8am BCP service at St Peter & St Paul in Shadoxhurst every 1st and 3rd Sunday. Every Sunday, we have a 9:15am traditional Holy Communion service and a 10:45am Contemporary Worship Service at St Michael & All Angels Kingsnorth. Whatever service you choose to attend, we hope you will find it accessible and intergenerational, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
As a church, we believe that faith is not just something we practice on Sundays, but a way of life that is lived out every day. That's why we are committed to serving the community and creating opportunities for people to connect with one another and with God. We hope that you will find a place here to belong, to grow, and to serve alongside us.
Along with our Team Vicar, Revd Adam Childs, we would be delighted to welcome you to our community. Please feel free to get in touch with us if you have any questions or would like to know more about what we do.

St Mary The Virgin, Ashford Town Centre
You can see St Mary's in the centre of Ashford from miles around, though it can be easy to miss us if you're close by. You're always very welcome to join us for our main Sunday service at 10.00 a.m., but there are plenty of other things going on as well - visit the parish website to find our more. If you just want to come and explore our wonderful historic building, or sit quietly to reflect and maybe light a candle, we're often open in the week. This is the page for St Mary's Church, Sevington.
St Mary's Sevington is part of the Willesborough Local Area of the Ashford Town Parish, along with St Mary's Willesborough.
St Mary's Sevington is a small but lovely chapel of ease and is described in Nicklaus Pevsner’s book “The Historic Buildings of England”, "as lonely and a little forlorn". It has got services which still take place on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month and are led by local members of the community. In spite of its isolated position, Sevington has a small congregation that has remained loyal to their church, offering a warm welcome to all who enter the building.
