St Margaret

St. Margaret's' extends a warm welcome to everyone, whether you need a break from walking the dog around the nature reserve, looking for a place to worship or simply want to come and take a look around our beautiful church we will be delighted to see you.

This beautiful church provides a superb venue for concerts and has also, in recent years, held a popular Christmas Tree Festival that attracted entrants from a wide area. The annual Harvest supper, organized jointly by the Friends and the Village Hall Committee, is held in the Village Hall and attracts many people from the village as does the biennial village fete. We look forward to meeting you.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Calehill is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Canterbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Malcolm Wood 07485 332 592 or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor Fiona Coombs 07548 232 395. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
