We at Holy Trinity are celebrating the 150th anniversary of our Church this year. Bishop Rose came to us on Pentecost Sunday and led us in a wonderful service – followed by delicious refreshments - and the following week we joyfully celebrated our Patronal service on Trinity Sunday with a great service and …. more special refreshments! The brilliant sunshine hoped for on Monday 27th when we had an Open House didn’t quite materialise, but we did have a really good afternoon.

Now we are making arrangements for a Songs of Praise on Sunday 7th July at 3pm, followed by tea and cake.
Everyone is welcome to come along and join in with some popular and well-known hymns. It would be lovely to see you there!

We will also have a Quiz on Saturday 19th October, but plan further events … Watch this space!

Charing Heath’s ethos is summed up in their mission statement

“Bringing people to Jesus through our open doors”. Although a small community, we offer a warm welcome and generous hospitality. We welcome you exactly as you are, as often as you want.

The ecclesiastical parish of Holy Trinity, Charing Heath was created in 1874 to serve the villages of Charing Heath & Lenham Heath. The small church of Victorian build provides a beautiful setting for worship. Gifts of money and land from the Sayer family of Pett Place, Charing, enabled the building of the church and the school. The school closed in the 1960s and was sold as a private residence. The Village Society organises various social events throughout the year, mainly in the Memorial Hall. It is hard to imagine a more beautiful setting for the annual village fete and flower show.
