These are Lent & Easter events this year.
All are welcome to join the 5-week study using material prepared by the Diocese of Chichester. Other venues and dates are available (see attachment)
Our usual Sung Eucharist for the second Sunday of the month but, as it is Palm Sunday, members of the congregation will read the Passion in place of a sermon. Palm Crosses will be distributed at the start of the service and we usually take them with us as we walk/process round the inside of the church. The service will be followed by light refreshments
We commemorate the Last Supper with Holy Communion, a short vigil and Compline
An all age service during which children present are invited to help make the Easter Garden as the events of Palm Sunday and Holy Week are told. Soft drinks, tea, coffee and hot cross buns will be available after the service
Local Christians unite to observe the Stations of the Cross as they walk through the town from Christ Church United Reformed Church Westgate Bay Avenue Westgate-on-Sea CT8 8SN to St Saviour's Westgate Bay Avenue Westgate-on-Sea CT8 8NX. Refreshments will be available in St Saviour's Church at or about 12noon
