St Mark

St Mark's extends a welcome to all.  Our services of Holy Communion and Service of the Word provide worship that is meaningful to all.  Sunday School is only once a month, but we endeavour to provide activities for the younger ones on all Sundays.

Our aim is enable the family of God to realise and develop a personal relationship  with our Lord Jesus.

The minister with pastoral responsibility for St Mark's is normally at the church on Sunday mornings and between 10am and 12noon on Wednesdays. if you would like any information about faith and worship he will be pleased to be of help.

Safeguarding

The Church of St Mark in the parish of St Laurence-in-Thanet Team Ministry (PCC) is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Canterbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor . If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services
