Our second week of Advent with the lighting of the candle that represents Peace. It is known as the Bethlehem candle and reminds us of the journey Mary and Joseph took from Nazareth to Bethlehem looking for a place to give birth to their child we know as Jesus the Messiah.

Third Sunday in Advent and we light the candle for Joy. It is known as the Shepherds candle as it represents their joy when they receive the news of Jesus' birth.

We have our Christingle service this morning at 10.30am. This is a family orientated service with the building of the Christingle then holding it by candlelight whilst singing in a circle.
