St Alphege, Seasalter at the Old Church
The beautiful and ancient St Alphege Seasalter Old Church sits in a peaceful churchyard. It seats a maximum of 40 people, is in regular use for (small!) weddings, baptisms and funerals, and for a monthly Book of Common Prayer communion service at 11.15 am first Sunday in the month. Since the recent sympathetic refurbishment, uncovering and preserving much of the original, hidden features of the church, there are toilet and kitchen facilities on site and it is available for small groups to book for quiet days, prayer events etc.
