Fareshare aims to reduce food waste by passing on food that is just past it's sell-by date. It is free and safe to eat. Fareshare is available outside St John's Centre every Tuesday and Friday morning between 9am - 11am. Although nothing can be guaranteed there is usually a mix of salad, vegetables, fruit, bread, pastries and cakes.

A friendly informal cafe-style church service for all ages. We will share toast and drinks before a time of worship, prayer and learning about God and characters from the Bible.

Coffee Break is a friendly and popular coffee morning where there is plenty of chatting, coffee, tea and cake! Open to all.
First Saturday of each month. A mix of gifts, books, bric-a-brac, refreshments, cake stall, jewellery etc. We look forward to welcoming old and new customers alike!

Care and the love of knitting and crochet have been combined in a prayerful ministry that reaches out to others. Many blessings are worked into every shawl. The knitter or crocheter begins each one with prayers for the recipient and intentions are continued throughout its creation. When completed it is offered a final blessing before being sent on its way.
Shawls are made for many reasons - for those who are housebound, sick, bereaved, undergoing medical procedures or who are distressed in some way. They are also given for occasions of celebration and to mark the beginning of a new stage in a recipient's life.

Afterschool activity club for primary-school aged children, Activities vary each week including board games, cooking, crafts, Lego, etc. Tuck shop available (extra cost, sweets priced 2p-10p). Themes for this term are: 28/02/2024 All About Football; 06/03/2024 Mothers' Day crafts; 13/03/2024 Red Nose Day; 20/03/2024 Sweet Treats; 27/03/2024 Easter crafts.
Our friendly and popular group that has been running for over 25 years. Lots of toys, crafts, singing, stories etc. Costs £1 per family which includes snacks and drinks. Different craft themes every week and this term includes Valentines, Daffodils and Spring, World Book Day and Mothers' Day, Comic Relief and Easter.
A series of sessions where we will look at short Bible passages together over a cup of tea. No need to book. We will begin with the book of Philemon, followed by the book of Malachi and then Acts, Chapter 10.
