Sunday Evening Service

Occurring
Every Sunday at for 1 hour, 10 mins
Venue
Christ Church
Address
William Street Herne Bay, CT6 5NR, United Kingdom

These services vary in style. There are café style services where we sit around the tables at the back of church and have some input and an opportunity to discuss with others. We look at topics, a Bible book, or a contemporary issue. We seek in these services to allow a good opportunity for interaction and learning. At least once a month we have an informal praise and prayer service which allows more freedom in a relaxed atmosphere. Occasionally on a Sunday evening we might have an informal breaking of bread, grill the vicar service, testimony service or a quiet reflective service. Please check our service cards, available in church, giving details of what we will be doing each evening.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Herne Bay: Christ Church is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Canterbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO (Annette Saunders - [email protected]) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (Paul Brightwell [email protected]). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
