Join us for a special choral evensong, the official welcoming service for Revd Melissa Carter, who will officiate. The Thanet Chamber Choir will be our guests, with director Greg Tassell and pianist Petra Hadjukova, to sing Stanford's beautiful Evening Service in G, Wood's "O Thou the Central Orb" and some lovely music from the Tudor period. Tea will be served in the church from 4pm. The service begins at 5pm.
An unbeatable value strawberry at at the Curzon Community Hall in Tower Hamlets. Tea, stawberries, scone with jam and cream, cake and sandwiches, all for £4.50 / children £2.50! Raffle as well. Come and support this excellent facility run in tandem with Charlton Church by volunteers, serving the Dover community.
Every 4th Sunday at 4pm, a lovely experience for the under 7s and their parents. Learn about the Bible and Jesus with fantastic puppet shows! Make friends and have fun! Enjoy the cakes! You will want to come back. Enquiries to [email protected]
