A service of Holy Communion based on the Church of England's Common Worship. You can expect a warm welcome, hymns and worship songs, Bible reading and sermon, prayers, bread and wine (currently wafers dipped in wine). Refreshments served in the hall straight after the service. At the moment, we don't have a separate children's group but can provide simple activities for children to do while they are with you during the service.

Messy Church starts with a choice of activities. Then we gather together to sing, learn from the Bible, and pray. We finish by eating tea together. It's planned with families and primary aged children in mind but all are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. There isn't a charge to come in but we welcome donations from those who can.

Join us to celebrate Mothering Sunday, giving thanks for those who have mothered us and reflecting on what it means to be a mother. As well as praise, prayer, and a message from the Bible, we will hear Aileen White, founder of MyBIrth CIC. Amongst other things, they run a monthly Mums Matter event in Thanington.
