Messy Church starts with a choice of activities. Then we gather together to sing, learn from the Bible, and pray. We finish by eating tea together. It's planned with families and primary aged children in mind but all are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. There isn't a charge to come in but we welcome donations from those who can.

An opportunity to meet with others to explore and discuss the teaching of Jesus in Matthew chapters 5 - 7. This section of Matthew's gospel has beocme known as 'the sermon on the mount' and provides a good indication of what it means to be a disciple or follower of Jesus. The sessions will take place in the lounge at Warren Lodge, 177 Ashford Road, Canterbury, CT13XR. Arrivals from 10:45 for an 11am start. You are welcome to come along even if you cannot make it to every session.

A Harvest festival service to express thanks for God's provision. It will include a display, harvest hymns, a message from the Bible, and prayer. THere will be an opportunity to bring gifts of food to add to the display. The food will be donated to a local charity to be shared with local people in need.

Join us for a quiz night in the hall at Ashford Road Community Association. Come as a team and bring your own drinks and snacks. Get in touch to book your places. Cost is £5 per person payable on the evening. All funds raised go towards the cost of the St Nicholas Church roof repair.

Worship starts at 10am for about an hour, followed by drinks and activities, then lunch around midday.

We will pray together for God’s kingdom to come and God’s will to be done in Thanington as in Heaven.
We all have other responsibilities too. Therefore, we will honour the time commitment to pray together for 1 hour only, recognising that prayer will be ongoing in our personal lives and in our congregations.

An opportunity to come and have lunch with other people - main course, dessert, and drinks! Cost is £7 per person. Booking is essential. Get in touch for more details and to book.
