A major highlight of the Cathedral’s year, our Carol Services feature music by our world-famous Cathedral Choir, and readings to tell the story of the birth of Christ. This is the first of two carol services.

This the first of two identical services, the second of which takes place on 24 December 2023 at 17:30. Both Cathedral Carol Services are un-ticketed, with doors opening at 16:30 for each service, and seated on a first come first seated basis.

Please note, there will be no evensong or said prayer on this day.
