A simple Celtic-style service of morning prayer in the remains of Holy Rood on the Lawn, Swindon, which is the old Norman Church of Swindon, and until 1851 was the only church in Swindon, Wiltshire - in celebration of the Revd. Canon Simon Stevenette's 25th anniversary as Vicar of Christ Church with St Mary's, Swindon. Simon and his wife Nicola prayed morning prayer in Holy Rood chapel on this day 25 years ago, prior to Simon's installation as Vicar that evening. Everyone is welcome to join Simon and Nicola for this very special start to their day of celebration.

St Mary's Church

St Mary's church is home to a small but friendly community who meet for worship most Sunday mornings at 9am.  We are within the Parish of Christ Church, Swindon.
