We are delighted to share the fantastic results from this year’s Wiltshire Ride + Stride.Christ Church with St Mary’s raised an incredible £1,450.69! Half of this amount will go to the Wiltshire Historic Churches Trust, while the other half comes back to support Christ Church and St Mary’s.We are thrilled to receive:£825.35 in total, including a £100 bonus for coming 3rd in The Brooke Cup, awarded to the churches that raised the most funds.Special congratulations go to:Jacob Smith, who earned a 2024 Ride + Stride Medal for outstanding individual achievement in the 16-and-under age group.Carol, who receives a cheque for £25 for raising the most funds as a walker in the 17–65 age group.A huge thank you to everyone who took part, sponsored, or supported us. Your efforts have made a real difference, and we couldn’t be prouder of our team!We also received a special commemorative plaque for taking part in the WHCT’s 40th Anniversary Ride and Stride as shown in the cover photo. This will be placed on display in the church.Save the Date: Next year’s Ride + Stride will take place on Saturday, 13th September 2025. Join Us In Spreading Christmas Cheer!This Christmas, Christ Church Community Centre Swindon is opening its doors to host a festive dinner for those who might otherwise spend the day alone.We are expecting around 100 guests for a day filled with joy, laughter, and community.
