Lent Lunches

Thank you to all who prepared, supported and attended the Lent lunches this year. A staggering £1052.90 was raised for Christian Aid.

Reordering Project Update.

If you recall we were presented with some objections from the Church Buildings Council and Historic England to our faculty application, particularly the air source heat pump and storage building size and location, relocation of the brasses, removal of the remaining nave pews, removal of the Victorian pendant lights, lowering of the pulpit and use of non- local stone on the nave floor. Mike Gibbin has prepared the justification response which has been approved by the PCC and sent to the DAC for review before being passed to the objectors. We have an initial response which is being reviewed.

Easter Daffodils Donations.

Please bring your daffodils to church on Saturday 19th April. The doors will be open, and vases will be available, and you can choose a spot for your flowers to go! Most likely a windowsill.

Fundraising Concert.

Our next fundraising concert will be on Saturday 5th July at 7.30pm in church. North Swindon Big Band will play a selection from Sinatra to Michael Buble with vocalists. Tickets £10 available from your churchwardens to include a free drink! Thanks to Karen Cordon for her kind offer to organise this.
