Curious about faith? Join a series of group conversations that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith in an open, friendly environment. Each session covers a different topic of faith, and there's plenty of space to share your thoughts. You can say anything you like, or nothing at all. You're invited no matter your background or beliefs. It's free and there's no pressure to come back.

St George

Welcome to St George, Hanham Abbotts. Christians have worshipped here for over 670 years and we continue to have a regular Holy Communion service here every Sunday at 9am.

Together with Christ Church, Hanham, our vision is to be ROOTED in God; CALLED into faith and fellowship; and SENT OUT to love and serve our community.

Safeguarding

Our Parish of Hanham is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Bristol’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Jenny Tyler by emailing [email protected]; or contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor Adam Bond on 0117 906 0100 or [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
