Christian Aid has teamed up with partner organisations across the UK to empower Christians to act in the run up to the next UK general election.

It all starts with our 'Act on Poverty' Lent course.

We will explore this topic by a method of prayer and bible study in a Friday tea time 6 week series:

Wk 1 - 1 March. Find and nurture your prophetic voice.
Wk 2 – 8 March. How can we join God’s work of healing divisions?
Wk 3 – 15 March. How to be generous in challenging times.
Wk 4 - 5 April. Where would Jesus place himself in your
community?
Wk 5 – 12 April. How do we develop a practice of hope.
Wk 6 – 19 April. Create your own Poverty action plan.

‘When people say that religion & politics don't mix, I wonder which Bible it is they're reading’. - Revd Desmond Tutu.

Each session follows a pattern of PRAYER. WATCH. EXPLORE. DISCUSS. approach. It is FREE to join.
Led by Pam Rawlins, Church Warden, St. Margarets, Yatton Keynell

Every Friday except 22nd March and 29 March.

The parish of Yatton Keynell is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Bristol’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
